Lave Comments Script for ASP

I'll tell you what, obviously this website has nothing to do with scripts, but I think I searched for a months straight to find a script which would enable me to leave comments on asp pages. No dice. I just couldn't find anything. So I created one. It works pretty well, you can see the demo down below.

So here is how it works. It is actually a PHP script. So how can you get a php script to work on an asp page? As you have probably found out, you can't. Until now. There is a certain insert you can use which will allow a php script to run on an asp page. But it won't work with every script. However, this script has been written so that it DOES work.

You need to have PHP 5.0 running on your server. To check which version you have, create a php file on your server and paste this into it:

#!/usr/local/bin/php
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Call up the file in your browser (make sure it has a .php extension) and you will see what version of php your server runs. If it is lower than 5.0, simply asking your hosting company to install a newer version. They should do it for free no problem and if they don't, time to change hosting companies.

It also requires a MySQL Database. It has an admin panel which will allow you to delete comments and ban ip addresses.

This is a free script and I don't offer any support on it, try it at your own risk. It should works as it works on mine. It is very easy to install and I wish you good luck!
