How To Say I Love You
How does one say those three magic words for the very first time? When is it okay to say it and who should say it first? If you are thinking about spilling the beans to your new lover, I am sure these kinds of questions and more are running through your head. It is probably one of the hardest things anyone can ever do! No wonder you are going crazy an doing things such as looking it up on the internet. Don't worry, everyone has been there before. Everyone falls in love and everyone has experienced those great big feelings of love when you feel as if you might explode if you don't say it soon. But calm down because there are rules.
First of all I believe it should be the man who says this first. If you are a woman in a new relationship and are considering dropping the L word, hold back. Wait for a while. If you guys are getting along well and he seems just as crazy about you as you are for him, give him time, he will say it! If your relationship is kind of up in the air, you don't want to risk getting hurt so wait a while and see how the relationship goes. If you have been together for a long time and he still hasn't said it (I mean more than a year), then it would be okay to say it. He could have a fear of saying I Love You more than you do and he has been waiting for you! You also will want to find out if he loves you by then. Why stay in a relationship if he doesn't feel the same way or has a problem with intimacy?
Now if you are a guy and you are thinking about it, consider how the relationship is going first. Are you two always having a good time or are there frequent spats? If you are having one of those romances where both of you can't get enough of each other, I am sure she is just waiting, no...DYING.....for you to say it. If you decide to tell her you love her, don't do it when you are both near passing out from alcohol. If she doesn't remember in the morning, you will feel foolish. You can do it after a few drinks, it might give you that liquid courage you have been needing. When you tell someone for the first time that you love them, you should do it alone when the two of you are having a good time. And BEFORE sex that evening, not after. It will make the lovemaking even more special. A great idea is to take an evening stroll somewhere and say it somewhere romantic, like on the beach under the moonlight. Oooh, just thinking about that gives me goosebumps!
For the men and women who have been a while together, you still need to say I love you. Your lover still needs to hear it and feel it as often as possible! Everyone needs to feel loved regularly.
