Make it a welcome home like never before. Decorate the house with banners, balloons, streamers, pink or blue flowers, children's toys, pictures made with crayons, etc., all of which say how much you love your wife and the ultimate gift that she has brought home to be part of your family-your baby. You can make your wife feel extra special by picking her and the baby up from the hospital in a limousine (don't forget to bring an infant safety seat with you). Have the house ready for her return-clean, of course-and make sure her favorite pajamas are ready for her. If she is exhausted (which is very likely), let her sleep, with the promise that you will care for the baby while she rests. You may also want to leave flowers on her pillow for her as a pleasant surprise.
